Students are able to advance in their journalism education as they learn techniques of good journalistic writing, interviewing skills, and ad solicitation in a cooperative learning environment. They are in contact with local businesses, which can lead to future employment. Students able to commit to the year-long program and that have an interest in writing, photography, graphic design, printing, ad sales and interviewing are needed to produce our yearbook. The yearbook class meets daily. Students are encouraged to attend the annual yearbook summer camp hosted by Herff Jones, our yearbook publisher. Staff space is limited, so students must either be recommended by a staff member or apply with the advisor.
To order your 2022-23yearbook, go to the district payment site. The cost is $55 ($60 with name stamp). Pre-ordering your yearbook by January 6, 2023 is the only way to guarantee a copy. We will not order a large surplus of books, so purchase yours today!
