The annual yearbook is a student-created publication that is completed in a year-long class that meets daily. Students will advance in journalistic skills, such as graphic design, photography, interviewing, and story writing. Staff space is limited, so students must apply to be considered for yearbook in the spring during registration. Everything from theme development to the content on each spread is decided by students and created in a cooperative learning environment. Some outside of class time is required for capturing photos at after-school events. Selected students are invited to attend the Herff Jones yearbook camp at EWU in the summer.
The 2023-24 yearbook will go on sale for pre-orders beginning August 1, 2023. This is the only way to guarantee a copy for yourself. Last year, we SOLD OUT and didn't have enough to sell to everyone who wanted one. Pre-ordering will end on January 5, 2024. Pre-order prices are $55; $60 if you want your name stamped on the cover. After presales close, all books will be $60 with no name stamp.
