ABOUT THE SEASON
Experience the tradition, excellence, and sisterhood of Titan Girls Soccer. Our program is dedicated to building a culture of competitive success while fostering lifelong bonds on and off the pitch. With a commitment to fielding three full teams, we take pride in offering every athlete the opportunity to grow their game and be part of our Titan soccer community.
Key Dates & Tryouts
The 2026 season officially begins at the stadium with mandatory tryouts for all prospective players.

Kara Sharpe has been a Special Education teacher at University High School since 2010. A U-High alumna herself, she took over the girls Soccer program in 2018 and the boys program in 2023. Her coaching background includes nearly two decades of player development in the Spokane area. She spent eight years coaching for the Spokane Shadow and nine years with the Spokane Soccer Academy, working with athletes, both male and female, across all age groups.
Program Highlights:
- Collegiate Success: Coach Sharpe has helped numerous players advance to the DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA and community college levels.
- Professional Development: She has coached two players who played for the Spokane Shadow who went on to play on the youth national circuit and professionally in the NWSL.
- Post-Season Consistency: Under her leadership, the girls team has made the GSL playoffs seven times and reached the state tournament three times.
- Individual Excellence: She has mentored multiple GSL MVPs and all-league players during her tenure at U-High. She was also named GSL girls coach of the year in 2023.
As a student-athlete at University High School, graduating in 2001, Kara was a four-year starter and a three-time 1st team All-GSL selection under current Titan Athletic Director, Brandon Deyarmin. She continued her career at the Division I level, playing for Washington State University from 2001–2005, where she competed in two NCAA tournaments.
